Scouting Report
(from TSN): |
Assets: Has
a tremendous physical package, including a mammoth body, strong skating
strides and the ability to move the puck up ice quickly. He's not shy about
initiating physical contact either. |
Flaws: Still
needs time to improve his coordination. Doesn't own high-end offensive
instincts. |
Career potential:
Semenov
is one of the best prospects in the Edmonton system and should soon become
an NHL regular. His upside potential is off the charts but there are concerns
about his awkward physical stature. Nevertheless, the Oilers have a gem
in Semenov. |
